Role Description The Spanish Medical Interpreter will provide accurate and confidential remote interpreting services between Spanish and English for patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating real-time communication during medical appointments, consultations, and procedures, ensuring that all parties understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and instructions.



The role involves adhering to medical ethics and confidentiality standards, accurately conveying medical terminology and concepts, and maintaining a neutral, professional tone.

The interpreter may also assist with occasional written translation of simple medical documents or patient information, following established protocols. This is a remote, contract role that requires reliable connectivity and a quiet, professional workspace.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Medical Interpretation and Interpreting skills with at least 1 month of professional experience.
- Candidates should possess accurate Translation skills for Spanish and English in medical or clinical settings.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Medical Terminology in both Spanish and English.

**Compensation & Bonuses**

Base Rate: $0.10 per minute

Volume Bonus Structure

5,000 minutes: $50 Bonus

7,500 minutes: $80 Bonus

10,000 minutes: $110 Bonus

12,500 minutes: $140 Bonus

15,000 minutes: $170 Bonus
