Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS to manage, optimize, secure, and maintain production database environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support MySQL and PostgreSQL databases in production.
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Manage backup, recovery, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, indexes, and resource utilization.
- Work with AWS database services such as RDS, Aurora, EC2, and S3.
- Implement database security, access controls,



and best practices.
- Troubleshoot database issues and participate in 24x7 on-call/production support.
- Automate routine DBA activities using Shell/Python and AWS tools.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with MySQL & PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of AWS infrastructure and database services.
- Experience with replication, HA, backup/restore, DR, and performance tuning.
- Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Linux/Unix administration and scripting.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
