General Fasteners de Mexico is looking for a customer service representative / Material Planner to join our team in our Queretaro office.
This person will drive customer satisfaction by fielding inquiries, addressing pain points and maintaining extensive product knowledge.Responsibilities:Responsible for handling the account relationshipsReceive and analyze customers' requirements and forecastDaily coordination of material shipmentsInform customers the status of open ordersProvide customers with documentation and tracking information of shipped ordersWork with Expediting to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers and recover customer-driven expedite costsReduction of Excess and Obsolete (360+ Days) InventoryReceive customer quality claims and coordinate response with Quality and DMR coordinatorTrack sales and inventory data related to accountsReport on sales and inventory data related to accountsProcessing of quotation requestsCoordinate with Discrepant Material Coordinator to communicate inventory needs for rejected material and replacementsResponsible for direct ship authorizationInitiate Hot Sheets for Quality and Warehouse,



as neededReview parts for purchase complete and minimum buys with Supply ChainCoordinate with New Part Coordinator to update MPS/DRP set-upsCoordinate with Material Planners to ensure material is scheduled, as neededResponsible to follow up with Supplier, as neededRequirements:Must have Bachelor degree or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in customer service or materials planningFluent in both written and spoken EnglishExperience with Microsoft Excel & PowerPointPossess excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonalFocus on attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlinesPossess Fastener product knowledge (desired)Possess knowledge of Epicor P21 ERP system (desired).
