Key Responsibilities

Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare detailed financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in accordance with Mexican GAAP and relevant standards.

Oversee general ledger functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations,



and fixed asset accounting.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations, assisting with tax filings and audits.

Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.

Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development in a remote setting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master's degree strongly preferred.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Mexican fiscal laws and NIF.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and advanced Excel skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively in an independent remote environment.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.

Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
