Responsabilidades
Identify and evaluate potential cable/connector suppliers across North America.

Conduct capability supplier assessments, audits and risk evaluations.

Develop supplier qualification processes in coordination with quality and engineering teams.

Support the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives to localize cable/connector supply.

Collaborate with integral sourcing teams to transform international to local suppliers.





Ensure compliance with localization KPIs and cost reduction targets.

Establish and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing suppliers.

Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure competitiveness and service reliability.

Work closely with engineering, quality, logistics, and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities with project requirements.

Provide regular updates to leadership on supplier development progress and roadblocks.

Monitoring industry trends, raw material pricing, and geopolitical risk that may impact supplier performance.

Develop reports and presentations on supply chain development metrics and market opportunities.

Requisitos
BS degree in business, finance or a technical/engineering discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in the cable or electrical components industry.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

Be able to communicate across various time zones, and languages to get the message across and get what you need.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Highly self-motivated with strong work ethics.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).

Experience with supplier audits and qualification frameworks (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
