Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated

Java Application Support Engineer

to provide production support, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancement of enterprise Java-based applications. The adecuado candidate will have strong experience supporting applications built on the

Java Spring Framework, J2EE, Oracle Database, JSP, JSTL, JavaScript, jQuery, and AWS

platforms. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for mission-critical Java applications.Monitor application health, performance, and availability across production and non-production environments.Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within established SLAs.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.Support deployments, releases, and application upgrades.Analyze logs and system behavior to identify and resolve issues.Work closely with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve production problems.Execute SQL queries and troubleshoot database-related issues in Oracle.Support applications hosted in AWS environments.Maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications.Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.Participate in on-call support rotations and incident management activities.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.Required Technical SkillsCore TechnologiesStrong experience with





Java/J2EE

application support and development.Hands-on experience with

Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Core)

.Experience with

Oracle Database

including SQL query writing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of

JSP (Java Server Pages)

and

JSTL

.Strong understanding of

JavaScript

and

jQuery

.Experience supporting web-based enterprise applications.Cloud & InfrastructureExperience working with

AWS Cloud Services

such as:EC2S3RDSCloudWatchIAMUnderstanding of application deployment and monitoring in cloud environments.Support & TroubleshootingExperience with production support processes.Strong debugging and log analysis skills.Knowledge of application monitoring tools.Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.Experience working in SLA-driven support environments.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Java Application Support or similar roles.Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.Knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment processes.Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.Experience working in Agile environments.Required Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Proactive mindset and ownership of issues through resolution.
