MUST HAVE Conversational English IBM z/OS Administration CA-ADECUADO COBOL & JCL OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP

REQUIREMENTS: 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Administration, or Mainframe Operations. Strong experience with Mainframe technologies such as CICS, IMS, DB2, Datacom, VSAM, RACF, JES2/JES3, SMF, WLM, and z/OSMF. Experience developing automation solutions using Python, Go, REXX, Assembler, CLIST, or similar technologies. Solid understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Toil Reduction.



Experience working in hybrid Mainframe and Cloud environments. Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, databases, high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Own the reliability, availability, and performance of integrated OCI and IBM Mainframe environments. Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets. Automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and postmortems. Administer z/OS environments and support critical Mainframe services. Provide support for CA-IDEAL and COBOL-based applications. Optimize batch processing, scheduling, and performance. Troubleshoot integrations between Mainframe and Cloud services. Support disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives. Promote a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
