Working within legacy ERP and document management systems to ensure data is clearly described and written at a level for operators to comprehend.CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:Previous experience as a mid-level member of a technical team supporting the development of technical documentation.Proven ability to work within Epicor and other ERP systems.Proven ability to develop manufacturing process documents that comply with regulatory requirements.Typically 2 to 4 years' experience in writing Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine engine engineering documentation.TYPICAL EDUCATION:Technology degree or equivalentESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:Assemble master list of operationsCreate approved data to work scope matrixCreate part numbers to work scope matrixCreate work instructions for each operationStandardize work instructions across part familiesIdentify equipment capability per operationCreate Bill of MaterialsCreate part number and repair code park marking instructionsPopulate Epicor data by operationAssemble Rework work scopesCollaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to consistently develop standardized documentation.Prepare accurate written technical reports, specifications, procedures and manualsPrepare and deliver presentations of work to all levels of external and internal customersTrains less experienced technical staffWork in a lab and field environments.Occasional travel required.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCIES:Familiar with technical language and manufacturing methodologiesUnderstanding of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages, .
