Job DescriptionWe're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Queretaro, Mexico for the Vehicle Motion Steering (VM-ST).
In this role, you'll take ownership of designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for automotive industry.
You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform complex technical requirements into robust, manufacturable designs that drive our organization forward.
If you're passionate about mechanical engineering, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are committed to delivering excellence.Design and develop 3D mechanical concepts and comprehensive part lists for customized machines and equipment used in advanced manufacturing environmentsManagement of Engineering changes in coordination with other roles and departmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet technical, functional, operational, and quality requirementsManage and organize product data using Product Data Management (PDM) systems, including Creo Parametric & Windchill to maintain design integrity and traceabilityDefine and apply tolerance chain specifications for tooling and machinery to ensure precision and performance standardsConduct on-site acceptance testing and validation at supplier facilities to verify compliance with specifications and quality standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize designs, reduce costs, and enhance product performancePrepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings,
