open video project focused on developing an ott platform for one of the largest north american tv providers. We are looking for a qa automation engineer to ensure software quality through automated testing. You will create, maintain, and execute automated test cases, identify and report bugs, and verify fixes to ensure a seamless user experience.

responsibilities

- create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for android platforms.
- identify, report, and verify defects and fixes to ensure software quality and a smooth user experience.
- collaborate with development and qa teams in a fast-paced environment to improve product quality.

mandatory skills description:

- strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and report findings effectively.
- experience in writing and executing test cases to ensure software quality.
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
- excellent planning,



organizational, and follow-up abilities to manage tasks effectively.
- hands-on experience in testing android platforms, ensuring functionality and performance.
- proficiency with version control and ci/cd tools, including git, jira, bitbucket, and jenkins.
- familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in an agile environment.
- development experience with java and test automation frameworks, including appium, selenium, and webdriver.io.
- knowledge and experience with essential debugging tools, such as android studio, charles proxy, and adb logcat.
- experience with spring boot.
