Role Description The End User Support Specialist is a contract, on-site role based in Irapuato, GUA, focused on providing day-to-day technical assistance to end users.
Responsibilities include resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers, configuring and maintaining computer equipment and peripherals, and troubleshooting printer and network connectivity problems. The specialist will log and track support requests, escalate issues as needed, and ensure timely and accurate resolution in line with Sharp Brains’ service standards. This role also involves communicating clearly with users, documenting solutions, and supporting the implementation of IT best practices within the local environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing and resolving user-reported issues.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess skills in supporting and maintaining Printers and related peripherals in an office environment.
- Candidates should possess clear verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with end users and technical teams.
- Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently on-site.
- Candidates should possess basic networking knowledge, familiarity with common operating systems (e.g., Windows), and experience with ticketing or helpdesk systems.
- Candidates should possess a relevant technical diploma, certification (such as CompTIA A+ or similar), or equivalent hands-on experience.
