Mandate of the role

Drive accurate fuel demand forecasting and analytical insights for the US and Canadian markets by leveraging Anaplan, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. The role serves as a key link between Demand Planning, Supply Operations, Data Science, and Business stakeholders to ensure forecast reliability, support inventory planning, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Role responsibilities

- Maintain and optimize fuel demand forecasting models within Anaplan.

- Analyze historical consumption, market trends, seasonality, and operational drivers impacting demand.

- Validate forecast outputs and identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities.

- Deliver short and medium-term fuel demand forecasts for the US and Canada.

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Pricing, Operations, and Commercial teams.

- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and forecasting improvements.

- Support stakeholder review sessions with insights and recommendations.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for forecast-related inquiries within assigned markets.





- Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.

- Partner with Data Science and Technology teams to enhance forecasting capabilities.

- Challenge existing processes and recommend best practices.

Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role

- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

- Working knowledge of Anaplan, SAP (IBP/BPC) or Oracle (Hyperion/EPM Cloud)

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving approach, with a detail-oriented personality and strong social intelligence

- Innovation and agility

- Hands-on and reliable, with strong attention to detail

- General mindset, capable of working across multiple cultures

- Working knowledge of programming and Power BI will be considered an asset

- Process and data governance

- Proficient in MS Excel and the broader MS Office Suite
