Locations - Remote Role family Coverage Seniority Location Technology operations, crisis management, planned technology event coordination, operational communications and shift leadership 24x7 rotational general support, including designated shift lead responsibilities Senior operational communications specialist / shift lead Mexico Role Summary The TEC4 Communications Lead is a senior specialist role providing communication leadership, shift-level operational direction and structured coordination for significant technology incidents, crisis activities, elevated operations, regulatory assessments and business-critical planned technology events.
The function turns operational input into controlled communications, coordinated bridges, documented decisions, runbooks, stakeholder alignment and review-ready evidence.
Key Responsibilities Leads communication execution for TEC4-supported crisis events, planned events and elevated operating postures.
Provides shift-level coordination, clear ownership, handover discipline, communication cadence and escalation hygiene.
Acts as primary communications coordinator for crisis, elevated operation events and planned event activities when required.
Coordinates bridge invitations, launches bridges, confirms representation and maintains roll-call/attendance records.
Maintains event pages, timelines, decision logs, communication history, action trackers and evidence records.
Drafts, reviews and publishes initial notifications, checkpoint updates, material change updates, stand-down and closure communications.
Translates technical information into business-readable updates covering status, impact, mitigation, risks, blockers, owners and next checkpoint.
Leads TEC4 support for business-critical planned technology events, including readiness, runbooks, execution control and closure.
Owns communication procedures, templates, runbooks, execution scripts, guides and operational documentation.
Supports DORA, MAS and other regulatory assessment workflows through communication coordination and evidence capture.
Keeps approved collaboration channels synchronized with event pages, management updates, bridge notes and incident records.




Converts lessons learned into improved templates, runbooks, training material, checklists and tracked actions.
Competences
Crisis communications: executive-ready written and verbal communication in high-pressure technology events.
Shift leadership: practical coordination, training, handover discipline and live-event workload distribution.
Technology Crisis Management execution: bridge launch, roll-call, attendance tracking, cadence control, event page maintenance and channel synchronization.
Planned event coordination: readiness planning, runbook preparation, milestone tracking and execution control.
Process documentation: practical procedures, execution scripts, guides, templates and runbooks.
Stakeholder management across Engineering, business & project teams and senior stakeholders .
Risk, issue, regulatory and communication governance awareness, including fact validation, approval discipline and evidence capture .
Calm, organized and precise execution under pressure .
Experience Profile
Minimum 5 to 8+ years in major incident management, technology operations, command center operations, crisis communications, service operations, planned event coordination, process management or project coordination.
Experience working in, leading or supporting a 24x7 operational environment across regions and time zones.
Experience coordinating live incident/event bridges, roll-calls, action tracking, stakeholder updates and handovers.
Experience drafting operational or management communications during high-pressure support windows.
Experience creating or maintaining runbooks, work instructions, status trackers, event pages, templates, action logs or retrospective materials.
Preferred: regulated industry, DORA/MAS, audit evidence, senior management communications, migrations,



cloud/vendor events, security initiatives or market-critical planned events.
Role Boundaries
Coordinates communication, bridge discipline, documentation, stakeholder updates and shift-level execution hygiene; technical remediation remains with the accountable service owner or technical lead .
Supports Service Owners, Accountable MD's, Project Managers and Tec4 Managers but does not replace their decision authority .
May lead TEC4 planned event coordination, but project ownership remains with the accountable project or service owner unless assigned otherwise .
Supports regulatory assessment communication and evidence capture but does not make final regulatory determinations unless explicitly assigned .
Provides shift-level direction and coaching but is not a formal people manager unless separately defined .
