JOB PURPOSE:

The Junior Controller supports the Controlling Manager in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, project controlling, and process improvement.

The position works closely with Accounting, Operations, Logistics, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. This is a development-oriented role with increasing responsibility as the employee gains knowledge of the company’s business and controlling processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial Controlling & Analysis: Support cost-unit and customer profitability analysis, including allocation of expenses to the appropriate customer groups and preparation of financial explanations and analyses.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including analysis and explanation of forecast-versus-actual variances, particularly material and labor cost deviations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting analyses as required.
- Customer Project Controlling: Maintain and develop a tool for customer-paid projects, collect and analyze project expenses, calculate profitability and margins, and provide accurate financial information to management and Accounting.
- Accounting & Approval Support: Support Accounting through validation of financial entries and data accuracy. Assist with daily approval workflows by gathering and reviewing the necessary financial information and supporting documentation for management decisions.
- Cross-Functional Support: Maintain proactive communication with Operations, Logistics, Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, and other departments to collect, validate,



and clarify financial and operational information.
- Process Improvement: Identify financial or operational deficiencies, investigate root causes, and support the development of practical solutions and process improvements in coordination with the Controlling Manager.

Development Opportunity This position is designed to develop into a broader controlling role. As knowledge, skills, and experience increase, the employee will progressively take on greater responsibility and independence for selected controlling activities and serve as a strong support and backup for the Controlling Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Initial experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Financial Analysis preferred; recent graduates may also be considered.
- Strong Excel skills; SAP/ERP experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proactive communication and strong organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn complex financial and operational processes.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively across departments.
- Adaptability: willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes, reporting requirements, systems, and tools as business needs change.
