Job Title: Lead Senior Security Engineer – AI-Driven Security Operations

Sophos | Pentest | WAF (Cloudflare or any) | Zero Day | Scans (Port53 / Prowler / Trivy / Inspector / Kali GVM) | SAST/DAST (Snyk or any) | AI Security

What You'll Do

- Lead AI-augmented incident response — detection, correlation, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking
- Own and scale AI security sub-agents (vulnerability scanning, threat intel, vendor risk) — tuning, and failure escalation
- Drive risk-based vulnerability prioritization strategy (SAST/SCA, EASM, container scanning) across teams
- Tune WAF policies using behavioral analytics & anomaly detection at scale
- Lead AI-agent risk & governance reviews — prompt injection, authorization gaps, secrets exposure — and own the remediation roadmap
- Champion DevSecOps maturity — embed AI-assisted security controls across CI/CD pipelines




- Mentor junior engineers and set best practices for AI-first, automation-first security operations

What You Bring

- 6+ years in cloud/IT security, with proven leadership in security engineering
- Deep hands-on expertise across all must-have tools listed above
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python/Bash) and IaC expertise (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation)
- Solid grounding in compliance frameworks — PCI-DSS, SOC2, SOX, HIPAA
- Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML in cybersecurity workflows
- Track record of leading security teams and mentoring engineers

Preferred Certifications

- AWS/Azure/GCP Security certification (Associate or Professional level)
- CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent advanced security certification
