As a Maintenance Trainee at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV, you will gain hands-on experience in the upkeep and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities, supporting our production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist senior maintenance technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.

- Learn to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to aid in repair and maintenance activities.

- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and thoroughly.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, while performing maintenance tasks.

- Support the installation of new equipment and machinery.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.





- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields is a plus.

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

- Strong willingness to learn and develop practical maintenance skills.

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.

- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.

- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed.
