What You'll Do As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will:

- Provides engineering support to assigned production lines and business units to contribute to operational continuity and the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Collaborates in the development, update, and control of engineering documentation for products, processes, and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with FDA QSR and Breg’s Quality System.
- Participates in Tier meetings and collaborates in addressing equipment, process, productivity, and RMA issues to support recovery of expected production line performance.
- Participates in the evaluation of process capability, cycle times, and manufacturing standards for current and new products to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborates in risk, ergonomics, and environmental impact analyses related to processes and equipment to contribute to safe and compliant operating conditions




- Collaborates in the transfer of new and existing products from other facilities to support their implementation in Mexicali in accordance with established requirements.
- Investigates root causes of manufacturing issues using tools such as 5 Whys, fault tree analysis, and RCCA to support the implementation of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Participates in the preparation and execution of process and equipment validation protocols, under the guidance of higher-level engineers, to verify that products and subassemblies meet documented specifications.
- Responsible for behaving in a professional manner both internally and externally in relationships that positively impact the company's reputation and comply with the company's policies and practices.
- Responsible for being accountable and committed to demonstrating Breg’s cultural beliefs and achieving the key results of the company.
- Responsible for promoting Breg's culture within the organization using established tools such as storytelling, providing focused feedback, and recognition. The performance of the position is aligned with the culture of commitment and accountability, following the steps of: See it, Own it, Solve it, and Do it.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum English proficiency level of 80%.
- 0 to 2 years of experience as a Process, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineer; internship experience is accepted.




- Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing certification is preferred, as well as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project and

Power Point capabilities. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Experience using artificial intelligence productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude

Compensation Vigente compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs.
