Role: DBA - Senior QA Engineer – Mobile Testing

Location: Remote in Mexico

Fulltime Permanent Position with HCLTech

We are seeking an experienced Mobile QA Engineer .The candidate will be responsible for validating a business-critical mobile application used by field operations personnel, ensuring high quality across iOS and Android platforms, backend integrations, notifications, offline capabilities, and end-to-end workflows.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of QA experience with at least 4+ years focused on mobile applications testing.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks.
- Experience with: Appium (preferred) and Selenium-based automation
- Strong API testing experience using Postman.
- Strong experience testing native or hybrid mobile applications on: iOS (iPhone/iPad) AND Android devices
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle, app installation, upgrades, and release validation.
- Experience with Ionic mobile framework
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- 3+ years BrowserStack experience is a must – Advanced level of experience.

Responsibilities





- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile releases.
- Perform manual and automated testing across iOS and Android platforms.
- Validate API integrations and backend data flows.
- Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Support release validation across development, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Identify quality risks early and provide mitigation recommendations.
- Develop and maintain mobile automation suites.
