About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join an enterprise technology team and support Agile delivery across business and technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience facilitating Agile teams, removing impediments, managing stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.

Location: Querétaro / Mexico City

Work Model: Hybrid – 2 to 3 days per week at the client’s offices

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with potential extended hours depending on client requirements.

Responsibilities

- Identify, manage, and remove impediments that impact team performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a refined, prioritized backlog aligned with business objectives.
- Promote self-management, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within development teams.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Monitor and communicate Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown Charts, Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Sprint Goal achievement.
- Facilitate effective communication between the development team, Product Owner, stakeholders, and other areas involved in the project.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential blockers,



driving preventive and corrective actions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives based on retrospectives, lessons learned, and team performance.
- Provide Agile coaching, mentoring, and guidance to development teams and leadership.
- Support the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices across teams.
- Prepare executive-level reports regarding project progress, risks, impediments, dependencies, and team performance.
- Facilitate alignment between business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.

Required Experience & Competencies
- 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in similar Agile delivery roles.
- Experience working on enterprise-level projects and transformation initiatives .
- Experience with Agile methodologies , including Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, ceremonies, roles, and artifacts.
- Experience managing stakeholders, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives .
- Knowledge of insurance business processes , including policy issuance, underwriting, claims, collections, and customer service.
- Experience working with cloud platforms , preferably AWS.
- Ability to identify and promote use cases involving Generative AI, Machine Learning, automation, and advanced analytics .
- Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills




- Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in complex, highly regulated, or enterprise environments.
