Position Summary

The US Immigration Onboarding Specialist is responsible for creating a positive, welcoming, and informative experience for all newly retained clients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and excellent phone etiquette in both English and Spanish.

The idóneo candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to explain information clearly and professionally, and a basic understanding of the U.S. immigration process. Training will be provided as needed.

**Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English are required.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Client Onboarding

- Welcome, orient, and educate newly retained clients about the firm, including the company directory and the various ways they can contact the appropriate team for questions or concerns.
- Follow up with clients regarding the quality of service they received throughout the consultation and retention process.
- Verify that clients have received the appropriate questionnaires based on the type of case they retained the firm for.
- Clearly explain the importance of completing questionnaires accurately and to the best of the client’s knowledge.




- Explain the general next steps in the case process, including the period between retention, fingerprinting, and case assignment.
- Ensure clients understand the most important sections of their retainer agreement.
- Clearly explain and confirm the client’s understanding of the following:

* Financial obligations

* USCIS, NVC, and EOIR application fees

* General case processing times

* The client’s responsibility to remain current with their payment plan

* Available financial hardship options, when applicable, and the importance of communicating with the firm in a timely manner

- Confirm that clients understand their responsibilities, including submitting questionnaires, requested documents, and required monthly payments.
- Verify that newly retained clients have a valid credit card on file and are enrolled in automatic payments when applicable.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients while their case is being assigned and help ensure a smooth transition to the responsible legal team.
- Reinforce the firm’s team-based approach and commitment to providing excellent client service.
- Invite clients to participate in the firm’s quality control survey at the end of the onboarding call and emphasize the firm’s commitment to continuously improving the client experience.

FOIA department supervisor

- Manage FOIA requests from start to finish, including preparing and submitting requests, tracking their status, following up with the appropriate agencies,



and ensuring the timely delivery of results to the responsible team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all FOIA requests.
- Monitor pending requests and conduct follow-ups as needed to support timely processing.
- Communicate relevant updates and deliver FOIA results to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications and Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both **Spanish and English**.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on pending items in a timely manner.
- Ability to explain processes and complex information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Basic understanding of U.S. immigration processes is preferred; training may be provided.
- Experience working in a law firm, immigration setting, or client-facing role is a plus.
- Experience managing FOIA requests is preferred.

Technical Requirements

- Reliable electricity and high-speed internet connection.
- Laptop or desktop computer with an updated operating system.
- Functional webcam and professional remote workspace.
- Ability to participate in regular video meetings and interviews.
- Quiet, secure, and distraction-free work environment.

Work monitoring software may be required and must be installed within a designated work profile to protect company and client data and monitor screen activity during business hours only.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PST
Compensation: $11 USD per hour
