Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (in international trade, business administration, or a related field)
- Advanced conversational English
- Experience in a similar position
- Experience in personnel management

Responsibilities

- Process and coordinate the client’s exports and imports
- Manage information across various systems and coordinate shipments with customs brokers
- Serve as the point of contact to provide status updates, resolve issues, and handle escalations with operations and/or the client
- Review reports and/or information in advance of customs declaration payments to avoid fines
- Prepare reports for the client and/or operations
- Coordinate the customs clearance assigned to the project
- Manage the generation of documents necessary to complete import and export clearance
- Notify and follow up on findings and discrepancies
- Provide support to the customs compliance team to help meet the department’s objectives
