- Work with internal component D&R; engineers from both Underbody Systems Engineering and Electrified Powertrain Engineering to lead overall internal systems design- Systems design rule assessments- System cooling/lubrication design- GVWR, VMAX, Torque limit, duty cycle and durability assessments- Requirements cascade to component engineers, sub system design specification management- Layout and stack up sign off- Overall component and system test alignment- Weight management/optimization- Work with vehicle program team to ensure proper execution of external interfaces- Vehicle package signoff- Vehicle attribute interface- As installed system lead- Interface with internal manufacturing team (including PTME and VO)Requirements- BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree (MS preferred)- 4+ yrs of experience managing /delivering powertrain programs through launch- Proactive self starter that can handle multiple assignments at a time- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, self motivates to deliver results with minimal direction- Desire to lead cross functional working teams- Strong problem solving skills- Excellent writing, speaking, interpersonal skills and presentation- MBSE (model based systems engineering)
