Tendering Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing.
This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Prepares estimates to include all costs associated with TFS projectsGenerate professional proposalsReview all customer specifications, drawings, and special requirements and incorporate in to estimatesGenerate construction schedules to include the scope of work, timing, task duration, and manpower loadings.Identify tools and equipment required to perform a projectAttend bid meetings and communicate with customers to clarify points in the bid documents.Prioritize estimates/proposals to meet the customers' deadlines.Ensure proper paperwork is acquired for providing accurate estimates/proposalsSECONDARY FUNCTIONSBuild relationships with both internal and external customersMaintain contact with the outside sales force to discuss inquiries and provide assistance and support as required to serve the customers.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NoneWhat we offerSalary according to experienceLife insuranceSavings fund 30-day Christmas bonusMajor medical expenses insuranceInteraction with international teamCareer growth opportunitiesBenefits above the lawSulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
