A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will lead strategic sourcing and commodity management activities to ensure a secure, competitive, and sustainable supply base for Siemens Energy Transformer and Switchgear order execution projects. You will collaborate across procurement, engineering, quality, and project teams to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate complex commercial agreements, manage key supplier relationships, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive cost, quality, and delivery performance that supports business growth and successful project execution. In addition, you may be supporting Operational procurement activities by overseeing purchase order execution, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance, resolving order-related issues with vendors, and maintaining data accuracy within SAP.

How You'll Make An Impact

- Develop and implement sourcing and commodity management strategies that ensure supply continuity, competitiveness, and long-term supplier performance.
- Manage commercial relationships with key suppliers through regular business reviews, supplier visits, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
- Lead sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier selection, price negotiations, framework agreements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, project management, and procurement teams to support project execution and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Support end-to-end procurement operations by overseeing purchase order execution, resolving supplier issues, and ensuring SAP data accuracy and process compliance.

What You Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.




- Approximately 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, commodity management, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and commercial agreement development.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings, value creation, and supply chain improvements through supplier analysis and sourcing initiatives.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and challenge the status quo constructively.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems to manage procurement transactions, supplier information, and purchase orders is highly desirable.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
