HomeHop is a fast-growing short-term rental management company (think Airbnb & VRBO), and we're on the hunt for a friendly, quick-thinking individual to be the voice our guests hear when they reach out. We started with a handful of properties and now manage 140 short-term rentals across the Midwest USA… and we're still just getting started!

What you'll actually be doing

You'll be our guest's go-to person. Someone messages asking where to park, how the hot tub works, or whether they can check in early? You've got them — warm, fast, and helpful every time. Guest messaging is a big part of this role… but it's not the whole role.

Because we're a startup, no two shifts look the same. One minute you're smoothing over a booking question, the next you're helping the team knock out a random task that keeps the whole machine running. We wear a lot of hats around here, and we're looking for someone who's happy to grab one and jump in.

A taste of the day-to-day:

- Chatting with guests across Airbnb, VRBO, and our direct booking channels — keeping it prompt, professional, and genuinely friendly
- Handling reservations, questions, and the occasional "help,



I locked myself out" moment
- Coordinating with cleaning and maintenance crews to keep stays running smoothly
- Jumping in on all kinds of team tasks and projects as we grow — flexibility is the name of the game
- Keeping notes and records tidy so nothing slips through the cracks
- Using critical thinking when problems with guests arise

The schedule:

- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- You'll need to work on American holidays (guests travel most when everyone else is off)
- 5 days of PTO to start

You'll fit right in if you…

- Write like a real, warm human — clear, kind, and typo-free
- Stay cool under pressure and can juggle a few things at once
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable bouncing between apps and platforms
- Have experience with short-term rentals or Airbnb (a big plus!)
- Are based in Mexico and ready to work fully remote
- Actually like helping people
