Reports to
Roberto Martinez, Founder & CEO

Independent contractor (1099-equivalent abroad; no payroll, benefits, or withholding)
Hours
25 hrs/week to start, with a path to full-time based on performance

$12 - $14 USD/hour (see Compensation section)
Role Summary
Braven Foundation needs a junior-level operator to drive day-to-day execution across four areas: website development for Braven Foundation and the Digital Connect Program (DCP), marketing and program materials production, and Grow with Google workshop coordination. This is a doing role, not a strategy role—the person keeps projects moving, produces deliverables, and coordinates vendors and partners against a plan Roberto sets. Light executive-assistant support (calendar, correspondence, meeting prep) is part of the mix, not the majority of it.
This role sits under Braven Foundation, the 501(c)(3). It is scoped for Foundation programs and platforms only—Braven Agency work is out of scope unless the entities agree otherwise.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite development (Braven Foundation + DCP)
- Serve as day-to-day project lead on both website builds: keep timelines, track open items, and chase developers/vendors for delivery.
- Draft and load content (copy, images, forms) once pages are built; QA pages for broken links, formatting, and mobile display before anything goes live.
- Flag scope, budget, or timeline risk to Roberto early rather than absorbing it silently.
Marketing material
- Produce social posts, one-pagers, email content, and outreach collateral for Foundation programs (DCP, Grow with Google,
others as assigned).
- Keep materials aligned to Foundation messaging—economic competitiveness, job creation, small-business resilience — and to whatever brand guidelines exist.
Program management material
- Build and maintain participant-facing materials: session guides, sign-up and tracking sheets, follow-up templates.
- Maintain internal SOPs and status trackers so program status is visible without a meeting.
Grow with Google workshop coordination
- Own workshop logistics end to end: scheduling, partner and participant communication, registration, materials, and post-workshop follow-up.
- Track attendance and outcomes data needed for funder and program reporting.
General support
- Light executive support to Roberto as needed—calendar coordination, correspondence drafts, meeting prep — capped at a minority of weekly hours.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years in project coordination, program support, or executive assistance—marketing or government-contractor environment a plus.
- Professional written and spoken English (business-level); Spanish fluency is a strong plus given Foundation program populations.
- Comfortable managing a CMS (WordPress or similar) at the content level—no coding required, but must be able to load, edit, and QA pages.
- Working knowledge of common marketing/design tools (Canva, Google Workspace, basic email platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple small projects at once without close supervision.
- Available for meaningful daily overlap with US Pacific Time.
CompensationRate: $12-$14 USD/hour, paid as an independent contractor (no payroll tax, benefits, or withholding — Braven is not acting as employer of record). 25 hrs/week to start, moving to full-time based on performance.
