You Are

UST is searching for an experienced SAP Production Planning / Manufacturing Functional Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA rollout at a manufacturing operation in Mexicali. The consultant will work closely with production planning, manufacturing, materials, warehouse, and quality teams to deploy the global SAP manufacturing template while addressing local plant requirements.

The Opportunity

- Conduct manufacturing and production-planning workshops with local Spanish-speaking business teams
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and map them to SAP S/4HANA
- Configure and support SAP PP processes including: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand management, Planned orders, Production orders, Production scheduling, Bills of Material, Routings, Work centers, Production versions, Capacity planning, Shop-floor execution, Goods issue and goods receipt, Component staging, Production confirmations
- Support integration between SAP PP, MM, EWM, QM, CO, and other manufacturing processes
- Validate the global manufacturing template against Mexicali plant requirements
- Identify gaps and prepare functional specifications where necessary
- Support manufacturing master-data preparation and migration
- Develop and execute functional and integration test scenarios
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and business-user sign-off
- Support training, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
- Work closely with plant personnel to resolve production-related issues during deployment





This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

- 5+ years of SAP PP / manufacturing functional experience
- Strong SAP S/4HANA Production Planning knowledge
- At least one full SAP implementation or major S/4HANA rollout
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes
- Experience with: BOMs, Routings, Work centers, Production versions, MRP, Production orders, Production confirmations
- Strong integration knowledge across SAP PP, MM, EWM, and QM
- Experience supporting testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities
- Ability to work directly with production planners and plant personnel
- Language Requirements:
- Spanish: Fluent / Native-level required
- English: Conversational to professional proficiency preferred
- Preferred:
- Manufacturing experience in automotive, industrial products, electronics, high-tech, medical devices, or similar environments
- SAP S/4HANA manufacturing rollout experience
- Previous SAP implementation experience in Mexico
- Experience working with integral SAP templates and geographically distributed teams
