Position Summary:
Promote and develop the company’s products to create demand by delivering a value proposition to our business partners and growers, enabling effective field solutions and helping close sales that support the achievement of the zone’s objectives.

- Location: Hermosillo, Sonora.
Role Activities:
- Master calibration and application techniques, as well as specialty products.
- Posses knowledge of products focused on fungicides, bactericides, herbicides, biorational products, miticides, and insecticides (Crop Protection).
- Generate demand through technical support and field demonstrations (Demo Plots) with strategic products, as well as fieldwork focused primarily on field visits linked to recommendations, Demo Plots with field days, counter days, technical talks, distributor support, and related activities.
- Prepare Demo Plot reports and share the results of the work performed.
- Focus on developing and positioning new materials, specialty products, or products of interest to the company.
- Deliver training sessions on calibration, herbicides, insecticides, miticides, fungicides, bactericides, biorational products, BUMA, integrated pest management (IPM), and other related topics.
- Understand the territory and the factors that influence it—including the market, crops, customers, competitors, seasons, and opportunities—and provide ongoing feedback to the immediate supervisor.
- Provide market information to the Marketing team.
- Safeguard the company’s products by handling claims and documenting and following up on these requests.
- Prepare a monthly report, an activity plan,
and a summary of results achieved.
- Maintain ethical conduct while performing job duties, as well as professional behavior, punctuality, discipline, and effective and accurate execution of responsibilities.
- Properly use the materials and equipment provided by the company to perform assigned duties.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Demonstrate a strong commercial orientation and sales skills.
- Conduct ongoing market analyses to guide decision-making.
- Continuously organize training sessions, demonstrations, and field visits with clients.
- Explore new areas where the company is not yet present, identifying potential niches.
Education:
- Graduated Agronomist Engineer with a degree.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Languages: 70% English proficiency.
- Travel required: Yes.
- Experience: 3–5 years in a similar position.
- Technical knowledge: Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, statistics, technical expertise, and an agronomic background.
- Knowledge of the territory, including field conditions and relationships with prospective customers such as distributors, sales representatives, farm managers, growers, agricultural businesses, and others.
- Excellent service orientation and initiative. Ability to build relationships with growers, strong verbal and communication skills, organization, adaptability, and professional ethics.
- Knowledge of potato, ornamental, corn, melon, vegetable, and other crops.
Job Expectations / Working Conditions
- Fieldwork: 80% - 90% of the time.
- Office Work: 10% - 20% of the time, including expense tracking, reporting and online meetings.
