✍ Short Description:

The Technical SEO & AI Search Specialist role focuses on applying deep expertise in technical SEO, GEO, and AI Search optimization across WordPress sites. The specialist will lead canonical, on-page, backlink, technical performance, and structured data strategies to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. This position also requires experience with A/B testing and CRO, close collaboration with web development and content teams, and the ability to progressively take ownership of SEO strategy.

? Responsibilities:

- Conduct hands-on technical SEO implementation across WordPress sites, including optimizing canonical structures, on-page signals, internal linking, structured data, crawlability, and indexation.
- Develop and execute backlink, content,



and authority-building strategies to support organic search growth.
- Develop and implement GEO and AI Search strategies to improve visibility, relevance, and citations across Google AI Overviews and platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
- Design and oversee A/B testing and CRO initiatives to improve conversion outcomes on digital properties.
- Collaborate with UI, content, and web development teams to integrate SEO and AI Search best practices into development and content workflows.
- Evaluate site health, Core Web Vitals, technical performance, and organic/AI search visibility, communicate status updates clearly, and progressively take ownership of SEO strategy as the role evolves.

? Qualifications:

- Proven expertise in technical SEO practices including canonical structures, on-page optimization, internal linking, structured data, technical audits, and backlink strategy.
- Experience with GEO, AI Search, LLM SEO, or optimization for AI-powered search experiences is strongly preferred.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization methodologies.
- Hands-on familiarity with WordPress and Cloudflare technical configurations.
- Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, and/or similar SEO platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on SEO implementation with web development, content, and design teams.
- Experience with AI platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity is a plus.
