We are looking for a Regional Controller to support our manufacturing operations in the United States and Mexico. This position is based in Monterrey and reports directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting – Americas.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into the details, partnering with Operations, and using financial analysis to explain business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Do

- Lead monthly financial closing activities for the US and Mexico operations.
- Analyze financial performance against Budget, Prior Year, and historical trends.
- Explain manufacturing and financial variances and identify their root causes.
- Partner closely with Plant Managers and Operations leadership to improve business performance.
- Own the standard cost process, including cost roll updates, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Develop meaningful management reports and performance dashboards.
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting, costing, and financial processes.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance within a manufacturing environment.




- Expert knowledge of Standard Cost Accounting (required).
- Strong experience with manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, and cost variance analysis.
- Advanced SAP FI/CO experience (CO-PC preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

You are someone who enjoys understanding the "why" behind the numbers. You are comfortable working with both Finance and Operations, enjoy solving problems, and take ownership of your work. You're equally comfortable reviewing journal entries, analyzing production variances, discussing inventory with plant leadership, and providing meaningful financial insights to management.

Important

This is not a traditional corporate accounting role.

We are specifically seeking candidates with strong manufacturing finance and standard costing experience. Candidates without significant experience in standard cost accounting and manufacturing environments are unlikely to be a fit for this position.
