This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Payables Analyst based in Mexico.

This remote role offers the opportunity to play a key part in managing and scaling freight payables within a fast-growing e-commerce environment. You will oversee critical activities across freight invoice processing, accruals, reconciliation, and month-end close. Working closely with Transportation, Logistics, Treasury, and FP&A; teams, you will help ensure freight costs are recorded accurately and on time. The role combines financial analysis with process improvement, reporting, and cross-functional problem solving. You will help strengthen internal controls and develop scalable processes that support increasing business complexity. Your insights and operational ownership will contribute directly to stronger financial outcomes and improved efficiency.

Accountabilities




- Lead cross-functional process design and continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening internal controls and scaling freight payables operations.
- Own key month-end close activities, including financial statement variance analysis and identification of opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Support accurate and timely processing, accruals, and reconciliation of freight-related invoices and costs.
- Monitor credits and outstanding funds owed to the business and partner with Treasury on cash optimization and weekly payment processing.
- Design and deliver reporting, metrics, and financial insights that support issue identification and resolution.
- Analyze freight-related financial data and identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive cross-functional issue resolution through clear communication and effective collaboration with Transportation, Logistics, Treasury, FP&A;, and other stakeholders.
