We are now looking for a Design Manager who will embody our Anything but Standard ethos and help shape The Standard, Mexico City.
As our Design Manager, you’ll partner with our General Manager, Senior Executive team,



and our New York-based Corporate Design team to bring a wide range of interior design and creative initiatives to life across the property.

As part of our senior team, you’ll take the lead on critical FF&E; projects and refurbishment works, ensuring design concepts and interior schemes remain on brief, on time, and on budget. You’ll have creative responsibility for the ongoing evolution and staging of our guestrooms, suites, restaurants, bars, and public areas, making sure every detail feels considered, culturally relevant, and unmistakably The Standard.

Day-to-day, you’ll act as the go-to for all hotel design projects. You’ll develop scopes of work, manage RFP processes, build project timelines, and oversee supplier relationships. Working closely with our Engineering team and external consultants, you’ll ensure documentation is accurate, compliance requirements are met, and installations are delivered seamlessly within a live, high-volume environment.
