PosiTrace by Global Fleet Management, is redefining GPS tracking for fleets. We build fleet telematics, connected cameras and asset tracking for transport, logistics, distribution and industrial fleets in Canada and Mexico — well established and profitable since 2013. Our customers range from a dozen vehicles to some of the largest bus and logistics groups in Mexico.
It is the seat where the close gets done, the filings go out on time, the inventory ties, the installers' costs are understood, the collections come in — and where Vancouver hears about a problem from you before it becomes one.
You will report to our General Controller in Vancouver and work side by side with the Country Manager and the Operations Manager in Guadalajara as their finance partner. If you have run finance for a foreign-owned company in Mexico that bills every month, holds hardware, sends technicians into the field and answers to a head office abroad, you already know this job.
8 or more years of experience,



several of them as Controller or #2 in finance of a foreign-owned subsidiary in Mexico reporting to a head office outside the country.
~ You have owned the numbers of a business with recurring billing, hardware inventory and field technicians — telematics, security or alarm monitoring, elevator or HVAC service, managed print, equipment leasing, telecom installations, or similar. an ERP migration behind you is a plus.
~ Fluent Spanish and English. You will run Monday's close in Spanish and Wednesday's review with Canada in English.
~ Close and Reporting: Own the monthly close in ContPAQi within 5 days, the monthly flash to Group Finance, and multi-currency and intercompany accounting with a Canadian parent. Tax and Statutory Compliance: Own ISR, IVA, retenciones, DIOT and CFDI with the SAT; Controls and Cash: Keep bank reconciliations current within five days. Run accounts payable, order-to-cash and collections, including the root cause behind every credit memo.
