We are seeking a Quality Superintendent to lead the execution of the quality strategy directly on the production floor at Molex. This position will be responsible for strengthening process performance, driving effective problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with automotive industry requirements. This is a highly operational role that requires a strong presence in the plant and constant coordination with teams working across multiple shifts. The selected candidate will combine hands‑on leadership, strategic thinking, and strong execution skills to develop the team and drive sustainable improvements.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quality team at Molex, working closely with Production, Engineering, Operations, and other support functions. You will lead a team composed of engineers, quality technicians, and quality auditors supporting multiple shifts across the operation.
What You Will Do
- Lead daily quality activities on the production floor,



establishing priorities and ensuring timely responses to process deviations.
- Develop and coordinate a quality team consisting of engineers, technicians, and quality auditors working across different shifts.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements, Control Plans, and applicable automotive customer requirements.
- Drive problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and 8D investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and verified for effectiveness.
- Partner with Production and Engineering teams to prevent recurrence, reduce risk, and improve the performance of electronic assembly processes.
- Develop and execute quality strategies that promote change, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Maintain effective communication with leaders across all shifts and collaborate with integral teams as needed.
