Global Indirect Procurement Category Manager
Job Purpose
This position leads and manages a team of procurement professionals responsible for Indirect Procurement, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities, and category management within a Global Business Services (GBS) or multinational environment.
The Integral Indirect Procurement Category Manager is responsible for the effective management of assigned indirect procurement categories, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, spend management, process compliance, and continuous improvement.
This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure procurement activities support business requirements, deliver value, optimize supplier performance, and comply with established procurement policies, procedures, and controls.
The position works closely with global stakeholders, business leaders, suppliers,



and cross-functional teams to drive procurement strategies, standardization, operational excellence, and process improvements across the organization.
Essential Functions
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of procurement professionals supporting Indirect Procurement and P2P activities within a global environment.
- Manage assigned indirect procurement categories, ensuring effective sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop and implement category strategies focused on cost optimization, supplier performance, risk management, and process efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end P2P process, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, invoice resolution, and issue escalation.
- Monitor spend, savings, supplier performance, service levels, and procurement KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
