Lead Operations Sourcing function for Medtronic Mexico Sites (Tijuana Campus, Empalme and Juarez Sites).We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives and drive procurement excellence across our Mexico operations, including Tijuana Campus, Juárez, and Empalme.
This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives across multiple manufacturing locations.



This position is onsite based on our manufacturing site in Tijuana.
The ideal candidate is an experienced procurement professional with strong analytical and negotiation skills, a integral mindset, and exceptional communication abilities in both English and Spanish.
A Day in the Life
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to support manufacturing operations across multiple Mexico sites.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
- Partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality, service, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and category risks to develop effective sourcing strategies.
