JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

This position has the responsibility for the accounting and reporting of R&D; costs and related engineering activities. This also includes the analysis of the capitalization of intangible engineering development costs as they relate to IAS38 and IFRS15.



This position will work with business units and accounting to manage the R&D; IFRS compliance. This position is the focal point for IFRS compliance and R&D; governance.

Essential Functions
- Analyze financial data, creating financial models, and preparing reports to help businesses make informed decisions
- Serve as Functional Controlling expert for IAS 38 and IFRS 15 identifying process improvements and internal controls to ensure the timely delivery of accurate costs
- Work closely with the budget owners and provide analysis vs. budget and OL
- Support the engineering leads with spending initiatives and understanding the performance variances
- Alignment with Global R&D; Org, Business units and FP&A; on the planned project Activities
- Assist in managing the MOP/ STRAP and OL processes for R&D;
- Work with the budget owners to build the budget and OL (Cost center planning).
