POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Training Specialist is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering effective technical and non‑technical training programs that support new product introductions, operational readiness, and workforce capability development. This role ensures associates acquire the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to perform safely, efficiently, and consistently across manufacturing operations.

Training is delivered through classroom instruction, laboratory environments, production floor activities, and digital platforms. The Specialist partners closely with Operations, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Subject Matter Experts to maintain current, relevant training content; track learning progress; and ensure training transfer to the job. Through standardized learning strategies and continuous improvement, this role directly supports operational excellence, compliance, and business performance.

- Create and manage training schedules for all departments; track participation, completion, and outcomes; and generate reports to support leadership decision‑making.
- Deliver onboarding and refresher training for new hires and existing associates using appropriate instructional methods aligned to audience and learning objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate feedback and performance data from employees and leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Remain current on learning methodologies by attending seminars, workshops, and meetings, applying best practices to future training initiatives.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and evaluate new Trainers, including delegation of training activities and performance reviews.
