POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This position will support Finance Managers in GBS Finance in all aspects of accounts records and financial reporting for assigned countries. Countries will be assigned and are subject to change depending on the business case. This role will own Americas-based service delivery, compliance, and implementation of key Americas-based initiatives (business case, requirements, program management, and resource planning) relating to general ledger accounting records, Stat and Corporate reporting as well as compliance to Corporate Finance Policies assigned by Senior Finance Manager. Primary daily responsibilities center on working closely with the Americas Finance organization, Americas and Corporate Regional Accounting, Tax and Treasury, country leaders. Lead, core responsibility is ensuring that all GL transactions and reporting are accounted for in a complete, timely, and accurate manner for countries processed by the team.




The focus of this role will be to perform review and controls activities and act as a Controller for GL and reporting operations processed by RTR Teams in Mexico.
This is generally an advance position that requires expertise in the accounting area.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversees on validation of Journal Entries.
• Ensure proper coordination that the reports and information requested from the assigned Americas Countries are delivered according to the Calendar.
• Review the accuracy of the balances of each month and ensure correct and timely follow-up is given to the items in reconciliation.
• Coordinate proper preparation of accounting manuals and updated accordingly.
• Support in specific tasks towards accounting systems such as Oracle, & One Stream on a daily, weekly, monthly and month-end basis
• Coordinate proper preparation of reports and information requested by Corporate and timely delivered in accordance with a calendar.
• Able to effectively and timely communicate with different level
