We are currently searching for a

Backend Tandem Dev:
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain integrations

to expose business logic from the

NonStop/Tandem platform

via

SOAP and REST web services .
Modernize legacy modules





written in

COBOL, C, and Java , ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Develop and debug serverclass and batch components

within the Tandem environment.
Manage and optimize database interactions

using

SQL/MP and SQL/MX .
Ensure secure data exposure

for both internal and external consumption.
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience with Tandem systems

(Guardian, OSS, Pathway, Webgate).
Strong proficiency in Java SE (JDK 11+) .
Proven experience in low-level and legacy languages:

C, COBOL, and TAL .
Solid knowledge of Tandem-specific environments:

Guardian and OSS .
Expertise in web service protocols:

SOAP/XML and REST/JSON .
Hands-on experience with SQL/MP and SQL/MX

databases.
3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial industry.
Desired:
Experience in legacy-to-service modernization projects.
Familiarity with high-volume transaction processing in financial environments.
Languages
Advanced Oral English.
Advanced Spanish.
