Job Title: Importation Leader

Job Overview: This role ensures that the flow of products from suppliers to customers is timely, cost-effective, and meets all quality standards. The Importation Leader will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and customers

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, route optimization, and cost-effective shipping methods

Supervise warehousing activities, including inventory control, storage, order picking, and stock rotation

Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Develop and manage logistics budgets, monitor transportation and warehousing expenses, and find cost-saving opportunities

Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics operations, including optimizing shipping routes, minimizing inventory holding costs, and improving warehouse efficience

Lead and manage logistics teams, including drivers, warehouse staff, and coordinator

Provide training and development opportunities to staff members, ensuring high performance

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance

Analyze data on logistics efficiency, costs, and delivery times, and implement continuous improvement initiative





Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Management, business, or related field (preferred)

Advanced english

Proficiency with SAP, WMS and Microsoft Office

At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Analytical skills : Ability to analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement

Problem-Solving : Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills, especially in dealing with transportation delays or supply chain disruptions

Leadership: Ability to lead a diverse team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance

Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams

Attention to Detail : A keen eye for identifying discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve logistics processes
