What you'll do:Responsible to design, validate and implementation of insourcing & NPI projects for the PCBA Center Of Excellence, including process documentation, test training, capital equipment, programming, fixture designs, and comunication with design engineering teams across the globe.Essential Functions:1 Support on NPI/Insourcing product quotes2 Test Equipment quotations, Installation, and validation3 Test fixturing developing and validation for ICT and Functional Test4 Procurement of critical parts for test equipment5 Test execution program based on design specifications6 Sustaining plan for new testers for production hand off7 Safety Remediation and Validation for new testers according to Eaton standards8 Test program development for ICT (Bed of nails or Flying probe)9 Quotation of new equipment & technologies, support on the annual profit plan10 Capital equipment quotation,



installation and validation11 Strategic training coordination for test12 Creation and follow up test project gantts13 Communication channel with design engineering team for test development14 Engineering changes follow up and implementation for test development15 Coordination of hand off with production for test processes16 Design for testing (DFT)Qualifications:Basic qualifications:Preferred education level: Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electromechanical, mechatronics, biomedical engineering or similar.Years and area of experience required:3-5 years of experience in electronic/electrical test engineering positions3-5 years of experience in new product introduction or transfers in an electronic enviromentTechnical knowledge:Highly skilled on ICT and Functional Tester platforms: Chroma, IES, Seica & CustomSkilled on programming languages: C++/ C#, Lab View, Python & PLCSkilled on design softwares: AutoCAD, Solidwork, Altium/ CAM350Skilled on embedded system communication: USB, Modbus, Serial, TCPBasic knowledge of troubleshootingKnowledge of IPC-610 standards & ESD standardsAdvanced English (speaking, writting & reading)Skills:Soft skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and SpanishStrategic ThinkingEffective CommunicationCritical & Analytical ThinkingProblem SolvingTime ManagmentTeamwork & AdaptabilitySelf directed#J-*****-Ljbffr
