We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve material availability and cost performance across our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization Develop and execute sourcing plans for critical raw materials, components, and services. Analyze spending, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with Quality and Engineering. Monitor market conditions, supplier capacity, lead times, and supply chain risks to maintain reliable supply. Develop alternative sources for critical materials to reduce supply interruptions. Supplier Relationship Management Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, lead time, and cost. Conduct periodic supplier business reviews and follow up on improvement plans. Coordinate the resolution of significant supplier issues with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Operations. Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system. Collaborate with suppliers on material alternatives, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.



Negotiation & Supplier Agreements Prepare and manage RFQs. Evaluate quotations based on total cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial terms. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and supply agreements. Coordinate the review and renewal of supplier agreements with the appropriate internal teams. Track and report sourcing savings and progress against established goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Five or more years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment. Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or components; experience in electrical or electronic manufacturing is preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills. Working knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international suppliers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments. Availability to travel for supplier visits and business needs.
