- To guide and lead teams of Development Specialists, with a variety of specialization through the full development life cycle, and being act as full-stack subject matter expert, and specialized in Micro-services/API, front-end technologies, and cloud base applications.
- Provide outstanding technical expertise, knowledge and ability with the capacity for original thinking in development and coding for an end-to-end solution.
- Partner with integral engineering subject matter experts to align and agree on the technical implementation with good command of English oral and written skill.
- Take remediation actions on application defects and take preactivated preventive measures to minimize service outage and disruption for business.
- Drive actively for adoption of automation in the direction of DevSecOps implementation in uplifting the overall engineering capability.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager.
- Work closely with business and IT teams on various projects and support items, coordinate among business/IT and regional delivery teams.
- End to end accountability for each delivery, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met.
- Sensitive to the industry uplift of technologies, tools and practices and their business trends. What you’ll bring:
- List the skills required for the position
- Over 5 years' experience on financial/banking system service, and at least 10 years working in Micro-Services/API development and web-based application and should be as subject matter expert level.




- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Hand-on full-stack experience in RESTful API Java Development, and HTML, ReactJS/AngularJS Development, and wider technologies (eg. SpringBoot, AWS, Kong Gateway, Docker, Mongo DB, Pipeline).
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus or similar) and fault tolerance tools like Hystrix.
- Familiar with security application design, development and integration is must, like https, cert pinning, encryption and decryption and data protection.
- Good command of overall application design with related certification is preferable (eg. TOGAF).
- Outstanding sense and skillset for trouble shooting under pressure and demanding situation.
