About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead high-impact strategic projects across operations. This role will evaluate, design, and implement initiatives in partnership with local management and cross-functional teams to reduce operating costs, increase revenue, improve productivity, and enhance customer service .

The position will also provide technical expertise and support operational planning, engineering, resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Lead strategic and operational improvement projects, coordinating activities with local management and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and monitor plans related to operations, facilities, equipment, vehicles, staffing, and expansion requirements.
- Analyze operational performance and implement solutions to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and service levels .
- Provide technical support to field operations in areas such as productivity, contingency planning, staffing, and cost effectiveness.
- Support facility planning, layouts, equipment justification, vehicle planning, and engineering requirements.
- Develop and maintain operational contingency plans and standard operating procedures.
- Lead corporate and departmental projects focused on operational productivity and performance.




- Monitor project results and provide recommendations based on operational and statistical analysis.

Qualifications

You will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to high-impact initiatives involving:

- Cost Savings: Support governance and optimization of transportation expenses.
- Peak Season Management: Plan resources, workforce, equipment, and expenses, and evaluate post-season performance.
- Operational Improvements: Implement initiatives to optimize equipment, processes, and infrastructure.
- Technology & Engineering: Support projects focused on package identification, routing, measurement, and operational efficiency.
- Network Performance: Monitor transit time and operational density to identify improvement opportunities.
- Contingency Planning: Develop and maintain operational contingency procedures.

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or another Engineering field .
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Fluent English, equivalent to approximately 600 TOEIC points .
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical tools .
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or higher .
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis, 5 Whys, and histograms .
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
- Influence, persuasion, and presentation skills.
