Role: Project Manager – Professional Services (Capital Markets)

Location: Mexico City (CDMX), Mexico – Onsite 3–4 days per week

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager – Financial Services to manage end-to-end technology implementation, integration, upgrade, and transformation projects within the banking, financial services, FinTech, investment management, or related financial technology domain.

The adecuado candidate will have strong IT project management experience, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a proven track record of managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks, timelines, and implementation activities.

Capital Markets experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with approximately 5–10% exposure to Capital Markets or related financial services projects can be considered.

Key Requirements

- 6–10 years of overall Project Management experience, preferably managing IT implementation projects.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end technology projects, including implementation, integration, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining project plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, resource projections, and budget forecasts.
- Experience managing project timelines, scope, risks, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including functional, technical, QA, support, and business teams.
- Strong experience with project governance, status reporting, RAID management, and escalation management.
- Experience supporting UAT,



go-live, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Experience tracking project financials, resource utilization, and budget forecasts.
- Background in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Investment Management, Capital Markets, or related financial technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage projects from initiation through implementation, go-live, and stabilization.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with business, functional, technical, QA, and support teams.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
- Prepare and maintain SOWs, change requests, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
- Provide regular project status updates and governance reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage stakeholder communication, escalations, dependencies, and expectations.
- Coordinate UAT, implementation, go-live, and post-production support activities.
- Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and budget performance.
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
