Role Description This full-time, on-site Account Manager role at Radisson Hotel Cuernavaca is based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area and focuses on managing key corporate and leisure accounts to drive revenue and guest loyalty.
The Account
Manager builds and maintains long-term relationships with clients, responds to inquiries, prepares proposals and contracts, and coordinates group bookings, events, and special packages with internal hotel teams. The role involves monitoring account performance, preparing sales reports, forecasting revenue, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling hotel services.
The Account
Manager collaborates closely with sales, reservations, front office, and event teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive guest experience. Regular tasks also include participating in sales meetings, attending client visits or networking events, and staying informed about market trends and competitors.
Qualifications
- Strong account management and client relationship skills, including the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Experience in hospitality sales, hotel operations, or customer service,
preferably within the Mexico City Metropolitan Area or similar markets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, hotel reservation software, and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for tracking performance and preparing reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency is highly beneficial for international clients.
- Solid negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional hotel teams and maintain a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to work on-site, with flexibility for occasional extended hours, weekends, or events as required by client and hotel needs.
