The Engineering Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in ensuring quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist with system tests to ensure products meet performance requirements
- Exhibit knowledge of programming and understand impact of changes to development environment
- Assist in execution of test plans, evaluate technologies, and work with support teams on issue resolution
- Adhere to audit requirements and utilize an understanding of corporate compliance issues and requirements
- Utilize an understanding of engineering procedures and concepts
- Utilize knowledge of previous or similar experiences to evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
**Qualifications**:
- Previous relevant experience preferred
- Basic level experience in an Engineering role (combination of education/experience)
- Financial Services or large complex and/or integral environment experience preferred
- Project Management experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics,



analytics tools, benchmarking and related reporting to identify best practices
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
