**The associate would be responsible to measure and achieve team goals by aligning a strategy based in the following objectives**:
**OPERATION**
- Manage railcar supply and performance issues across rail network for import and export operations.
- Ensure empty supply delivery from both railroads according their contract.
- Inventory Yard Status Compliance based in FIFO's.
- Supervise to achieve VSSM objectives for Mexico Wholesales and Imports Sales.
- Supplier Compliance and shipping issues as required (frequently evenings and weekends)
- Sinergy with GMNA team to level and plan shipments from both countries to avoid congestions. (Embargos, Metering plans and ramp diversions)
**PLANING AND FORECASTING**
- Empty Supply Yearly Forecast for Mexico Operations, Fleetsize.
- Develop complex railcar forecasts and align capacity to execute contingency plans.
- Generate complex scenarios that include shipping plans for each GM complex, production analysis, empty supply needed, cost optimization, penalties generated and contingencies plans to achieve our Revenue Recognition Target and budget (Sinergy with Intercontinental team)
- Responsible to create annual Budget for following years ensuring enough money to run operation based on production volumes, import receptions and railcars utilization.
- Share with railroads and yard managers rail shipping plans monthly with contingencies or actions to take according rail network status.
**MEASURES AND KPI PERFORMANCE**
- Ensure Rail KPIs are measured and reach expected expectations.
- Mexico Revenue Recognition Forecasting Process and Targets Achievement
- Scorecards Review with suppliers to measure and improve supplier performance.
- Premium Freight and Outbound Budget performance tracking.
**LAUNCHES AND NEW PROJECTS**
- Support new vehicle launch requirements including shipping priority on saleable units before SORP and B&H; process.
- Support source department of new supplier implementation, : SOR on time, support technical reviews meetings, implement new suppliers on the operation.
- Follow up infrastructure logistics projects of yards and rail tracks.
**COST SAVINGS**
- Support cost savings initiatives
- Cost Control (Track CPU Domestic and Export)
- Optimize load factors with trilevel ad AMAX utilization with both railroads.
**Additional Job Description**
**Knowledge**:
- General Logistics Finished Vehicle Network (preferred)
- Rail and yard management industries (preferred)
- Working knowledge of key customer (VSSM, Order Fulfillment and Fleet & Commercial) functions and responsibilities
- Dealing with ambiguity.
**Skills**:
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult
- Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with cross functional partners to meet mutual goals
- Highly proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Highly proficient computer skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
