Plant Finance Manager

Location: Chihuahua, Chihuahua, México

Salary: $107,000–$113,000 MXN monthly

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plant Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of a manufacturing facility in Mexico. This position will partner closely with Plant and Corporate leadership and oversee financial planning, cost accounting, reporting, inventory, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and monthly reporting.
- Manage plant cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, overhead, and variance analysis.
- Oversee month-end close, general ledger, balance-sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage inventory, working capital, and capital investment analysis.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Mexican statutory requirements.
- Oversee IMMEX/maquiladora accounting, customs-related accounting, VAT certification, and Annex 24/Annex 31 requirements.
- Support internal, external, tax, and customs audits.
- Lead and develop the plant finance/accounting team.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Tax, Customs, and Corporate Finance.

Requirements




- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7 years of accounting/finance experience, including 3 years in manufacturing finance or plant accounting.
- Hands-on experience with Mexico maquiladora/IMMEX operations.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, financial reporting, and balance-sheet management.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican accounting/statutory requirements.
- Experience with Annex 24/Annex 31 and customs-related processes.
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
- Leadership experience managing finance/accounting teams.
- Advanced English and Spanish.
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar certification is a plus.
